Macbook Pro With 10.9.5 Won't Download El Capitan 10.11.4

Hi so I have a Mac running El Capitan, and wanted to download the installer to put on a USB drive for another computer. When I try to download it, it says “cannot download” how can I fix this?

I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 on a Macbook Pro. I have installed the Adobe Illustrator Trial without any issues. I've tried, unsuccessfully, to install the trial of Photoshop CS(2015) for damn near two days now. I know this is an old problem and I've read multiple other threads with the same or similar issue. I am having almost this exact same issue, I have an old MacBook Pro that I have previously had El Capitan installed on. The hard drive has gone funny and now I need to re-install El Capitan. But the only other Mac I have is an iMac, and I cannot seem to legitimately find a way to download El Capitan.

Is this a good question?
